Passing it on
// January 22nd, 2009 // Life
It is always amazing to watch how one person’s actions can have a profound effect on many. I’m not talking a person with a platform to share with many people but one person taking the time to share something with one person who shares it with another who shares it with another and on and on.
I’ve been helping my friend Christina with her blog for the last couple months. One of her readers was touched by a particular post and decided to send Christina a message telling her to check out a video from Cross Point Church in Nashville, TN. Christina passed it on to me. I still haven’t watched the video but I’ve been reading Pete Wilson’s blog ever since. Some of his recent postings have hit way too close to home for the circuitous route the blog took to find me to have been an accident.
Anyway, I felt led to share one of Pete’s more recent videos with a good friend. I knew it would hit close home for because of her own testimony and the work she does today. She decided to send it out to every volunteer in her organization! I have no idea who will watch it, who will send it on or who may find something else on Pete’s blog that inspires them but I don’t have any doubt that those things will happen. It is awesome to watch how God can use one little act to inspire one or many. So if God has put something on your heart to tell someone, forward to someone, share with someone, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, pass it on.
Anybody else have examples of God working through those little things?

God has laid it on my heart to let you know how much you have blessed us with all your help with Christina's ministry, You have gone above and beyond what we could have ever hoped for in a ministry partner. May God richly bless you for faithful service to Chrysalis Ministries and His kingdom.
This is so true! Through one person reaching out and sharing, so many are impacted. Chris, on a different note, thank you so much for leading efforts at I Matter Too and being such a great role model for your boys and so many others.
So cool. I love the way God connects people through His grace.
